Daycare Creche Business Plan
The child provider industry is one that is always in high-demand, since people will always be procreating and will always need someone to care for their children. We will be providing that service to our clientele, in a beautiful, intimate setting that is appealing to parents who have to be separated from their children during the day. No parent wants to think of his/her child being just one of the many in a crowd of children, none of whom gets the attention he/she deserves from the childcare provider.
The urban life of the modern and career women lifestyle has made it of necessity to have a place where one’s wards can be well catered for, at the same time building the social and motor skills of the child. There has been so much improvement to child’s care industry in Nigeria, thanks to regulatory bodies like; WHO, NIHS, USAID and so on, regulating the illegal practices of some so-called day-cares.
We can compete in this industry because we will offer something slightly different than the current norm. We will operate in a relatively large and spacious facility, with different rooms according to age range, taking a maximum of 100kids per day. We will have up to four employees working on any given day, giving us a 1:5 ratio of caregiver to children. Most daycarecenters these days have at least a 1:8 or 1:10 ratio.
